Hostel Facility
The college operates well-equipped boarding facilities for male and female pupils that would like to come into residence.
At Hilltop Excellence College, our boarding system is a home-away-from-home alternative. It is very comfortable, warm and friendly. The hostels are split into rooms which accommodate maximum of eight students.
The boarding house is located within the school compound, in the vicinity of the staff quarters for closer monitoring of the students and is staffed by a resident housemaster (for boys’ hostel) and housemistress (for girls’ hostel). Each of the boys’ and girls’ hostels has resident house minders to support the housemasters/mistresses in looking after the pupils and providing assistance as may be required. All the school’s housemasters, housemistresses and house minders are adults who are experienced in handling adolescents.
To ensure positive integration of every pupil in hostel and adequate coordination between classroom and the hostel, there is regular coordination between the housemasters/house minders and the academic staff on the progress of the students.
The aim of our boarding system is to ensure the happiness of all pupils in hostel and their independent and responsible development. They are encouraged to develop self-confidence, imbibe good habits, live amicably with others, live an independent life in a caring environment that offers good discipline.
